House Subcommittee Holds Hearing on Proxy Advisory Firms - May 17, 2016

On May 17, 2016, the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Capital Markets held a hearing on three proposed bills to enhance capital formation, transparency, and regulatory accountability.  One of the proposals considered at this hearing was legislation prepared by Representatives Sean Duffy (R-WI) and John Carney (D-DE) to regulate the business practices of proxy advisory firms.
